WHAT’s a girl to do when things get tricky on the home front? Why, take to Instagram, of course, to post snaps that make it clear just how much fun single life can be.

Former pop star Louise Redknapp has appeared laughing and joking around with friends in a series of social media pictures, amid reports that she is living apart from ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp, her husband of 19 years.

Sources close to the couple have suggested that Louise, 42, rediscovered her “mojo” during her dazzling performances in last year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she is said to have formed close bonds with her fellow contestants, particularly partyloving model Daisy Lowe, 28.

Following her success on Strictly, Louise seems happy to be out on her own, as her recent posts reveal. In one, she is pictured with Daisy and other friends sipping cocktails at a meeting of their “book club” at the ultra-fashionable Society Club in East London.

Getting in tip-top shape is a traditional parting shot to a strained relationship, and Louise has been counting off the calories during boxercise sessions. She posts snaps of her work-outs on social media and has flaunted her toned physique as the cover star of a recent issue of Women’s Health magazine.

And, as if to confirm her independence, she has even done a spot of car maintenance, releasing a snap of her pumping up a flat tyre on her 4x4.
