Jane Austen on plastic £10 note

THE BANK Bank of England (BoE) yesterday unveiled its first plastic £10 note, which features 19th century British novelist Jane Austen and will be available to the public from September. Last year, the BoE launched a £5 note made from a polymer film that it said is harder to forge. Yesterday marked the 200th anniversary of Austen’s death. – Reuters
