Favourite makes hopping return

SODASTREAM is making a comeback by attracting lager drinkers into home brewery. They’re looking to form a beer partnership that will push its carbonated water machines into British homes again.

Chief executive Daniel Birnbaum revealed that the company is in discussions with potential partners that will provide liquid beer concentrates to pair with its machines in the next 12 months. This comes after trials in countries such as Germany, Switzerland and Austria saw SodaStream offer concentrates that created a 5 percent lager with its machines.

Birnbaum said that it is a lot quicker and easier and at the end a higher-quality product to do home brewing with SodaStream than it is to go ahead and do your own existing home brewing the way you do it right now.
