Licences are on their way

- Anna Cox

FOLLOWING numerous complaints from motorists in the City of Joburg about the shortage of licence renewal forms at the Driver Licence Testing Centres (DLTC) in the city, the city has announced that this service to the public is rendered on behalf of the Gauteng Provincial Government.

“The processes and documents required are, therefore, largely prescribed by the Provincial Government and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC). As such, prescribed forms required for licence renewals are also received from Provincial Government printers. The prescribed forms have been procured and will be distributed to the various DLTCs from Thursday and should be available at all testing stations,” said member of the mayoral committee for pubic safety, Michale Sun.

We apologise for any inconveniences caused to the residents,” he added.
