Walk to help addicts get clean

-

TUT FM breakfast show presenter and social activist Khutsi Malala has almost doubled his original target of sending 20 drug addicts for rehabilitation. At the end of his gruelling walk from Joburg to Soshanguve in Tshwane on Saturday morning, he was greeted by the news that the Rotary Club of Waterkloof in Pretoria would sponsor 35 addicts for a skills development programme. Ditsala Children’s Shield also donated money to his campaign to get drug addicts off the streets. Malala and a group of 14 people began the walk from Grayston Drive in Sandton on Friday to raise awareness about drug addiction.
