Peppa to get squeals of delight
FOLLOWING its highly successful recent sellout seasons in Joburg, Cape Town and Durban, Peppa Pig Live in South Africa, in partnership with Black, begins the second phase of its South African tour at the State Theatre in Pretoria on Saturday, Youth Day, and Sunday, and will take to the stage at the Opera House in Port Elizabeth from June 23 to 24.
Additional family discount packages, with seats from just R189, are available when booking four or more tickets at specific shows. And in response to overwhelming demand, an extra show has been added to the production’s Pretoria performances.
The additional show on Saturday at 3.30pm will give more of Peppa’s fans the opportunity to join the thousands of children who enjoyed the sellout seasons in Joburg, Cape Town and Durban.
With all the excitement around Peppa Pig, which led to additional performances in Joburg, Cape Town and Durban selling out within a day or two, patrons are encouraged to book as soon as possible via Computicket.
“Children were off their chairs, stomping their feet, wiggling their bums and singing along to Bing Bong and other popular nursery rhymes… the kids had the time of their lives,” raved City Press about Peppa fans in Johannesburg.
“Watching the reaction to a made-up cartoon character appear on stage is beyond belief,” said the Cape Argus, while the Biz Community commented: “The characters urged the audience to participate, and all the singing, dancing, oinking and jumping in muddy puddles kept the children well entertained.”
Peppa Pig Live in South Africa will have the audience laughing, cheering and dancing – just like Peppa!
