De Lille seeking greener pastures?
WHAT is happening in the DA regarding its Cape Town executive mayor, Patricia de Lille, is quite interesting. For the past 10 months there have been accusations and counter accusations between them and it was tiring to listen to them.
The DA and De Lille have announced that she will be stepping down as a mayor at the end of October. What does this mean? Is she going to stay as a member if the outcome of the council’s investigation doesn’t favour her?
These two sides have wasted our time on this case. De Lille is more like a sheep in a wolf’s skin. She threatened to fight the DA to the bitter end. What has changed now? Perhaps she has dismissed rumours as she’s been promised greener pastures in national and provincial legislatures.
This matter must come to an end or voters will deal with the DA harshly. Braamfontein, Joburg
