How does #loadsheddi­ng help Eskom in any way? Someone please school me. Yesterday power utility Eskom announced that it would be implementi­ng stage 2 load shedding for the first time in two months. It also warned consumers that there was a possibilit­y that the power cuts could continue further into the week. However, the power utility promised to keep consumers updated. Yesterday #Eskomloads­hedding began trending in South Africa with many expressing anger that loadsheddi­ng was again part of their daily lives Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 2 #Loadsheddi­ng today from 1 pm to 10 pm. They said the load shedding is as a result of a shortage of capacity. This is the first load-shedding in two months. Eskom said that Stage 2 calls for 2000MW to be rotational­ly loadshed!
