Guests at German shisha bar pass out
BERLIN: Two women lost consciousness at a shisha bar in a north-central German town due to too much carbon monoxide in the air and had to be taken to hospital, local police said yesterday.
Eight other guests at the shisha bar in the town of Peine had to receive treatment. A total of 12 rescue vehicles, two ambulances, 41 firefighters and two patrol cars were at the scene.
The bar was forced to temporarily close and there is a preliminary investigation under way into the cause, police said.
