JUSTIN BIEBER and Hailey Baldwin didn’t have sex until they tied the knot.

The Sorry hitmaker has revealed that he made the choice to become celibate two years ago because he had “a legitimate problem with sex” and explained that reconnecting with Hailey, whom he married in a secret ceremony last September, was God’s way of rewarding him for “good behaviour”.

“I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough, because they lack self-worth.

“I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul. And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result.”

The 24-year-old pop star first met the 22-year-old model 10 years ago, and they dated briefly in 2016. It was at church in June last year that the pair started to become close again. | Bang Showbiz
