My congratulations to her. She looked beautiful in blue. But on a point of order, I humbly request she not take the habit of saying “Leave the House” home.

THERE is a need for funds to assist students. They know that universities have to pay for staff, buildings, maintenance, etc. Free education does not exist. Someone, somewhere, must provide funds.
The government is the only entity that can use some of the funds provided by the relatively small group of taxpayers.
However, the headlines on September 22 suggested there are other sources: municipalities do handle quite an amount of funds. e-Thekwini spent more than R761 000 on the funeral of a rich local businessman. Students could approach their municipalities. J Matthews Durban
