Molefe thinks we’re all dumb

- Durban North

IT SEEMS ever since newlywed former MP “Ek kom terug” (I’m coming back) Mr B Molefe has given the country tons of humour.

From a chief executive earning in the region of cost to company around R1 million a month to an annual salary of R1m a year after a few visits to a shebeen in the Saxonwold area, a R600m zero-risk loan, shedding a few tears, part-time MP and now back at Eskom.

Apparently he cannot recall when or whether he resigned from Eskom but decided as chief executive it’s okay to moonlight as an MP until he realised the R30m pension was not coming through for eight months’ work.

So convincing is he (or thinks we are as gullible as his superiors) that the chairman of Eskom has defended him to the hilt. As a businessman Dr Ben Ngubane had made some huge business blunders in KwaZulu-Natal so really his acumen and fitness for Eskom’s chairmanship needs to be seriously examined.

Molefe has really made a first-class fool of himself and is becoming more like another disgraced ANC guy called Carl Niehaus. (No house) given his accommodation sagas.

As for the country, Eskom is too important to let a few amateurs and Saxonwold Shebeen club members run it.

The saga of Eskom is no doubt tragic and once again More Laughs Molefe should take heed of this phrase, “eks (nie) dom”. Miskien jy is maar nie ons nie. Muhammad Omar
