Facts on Tsonga people.

THE Tsonga tribe occupies the Southern Mozambique, parts of Zimbabwe and Swaziland, as well as Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Shangaan and Tsonga people were concentrated in the ‘homeland’ of Gazankulu, west of Kruger in the apartheid era. Tsonga speakers are often referred to as Shangaans, but the Tsongas say this is incorrect.
