IN THE wealth band definition, billionair­es are those high-networth individual (HNWIs) with net assets of $1 billion or more. Centimilli­onaires are those HNWIs with net assets of between $100 million and $1bn. Affluent millionair­es are those HNWIs with net assets of between $30m and $100m. Mid-tier millionair­es are those HNWIs with net assets of between $5m and $30m. Lower-tier millionair­es are those HNWIs with net assets of between $1m and $5m.

UHNWIs (Ultras) are those individual­s with net assets of $30m or more. Multimilli­onaires are those individual­s with net assets of $10m or more (ie double-digit millionair­es). Millionair­es (HNWIs) are those individual­s with net assets of $1m or more.

Mass affluent are those individual­s with net assets of between $100 000 and $1m. – New World Wealth
