IN THE wealth band definition, billionaires are those high-networth individual (HNWIs) with net assets of $1 billion or more. Centimillionaires are those HNWIs with net assets of between $100 million and $1bn. Affluent millionaires are those HNWIs with net assets of between $30m and $100m. Mid-tier millionaires are those HNWIs with net assets of between $5m and $30m. Lower-tier millionaires are those HNWIs with net assets of between $1m and $5m.

UHNWIs (Ultras) are those individuals with net assets of $30m or more. Multimillionaires are those individuals with net assets of $10m or more (ie double-digit millionaires). Millionaires (HNWIs) are those individuals with net assets of $1m or more.
