The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) and Nedbank Arts Affinity (NAA) have announced the list of profession­al developmen­t projects that will receive grants from the trust. For the past 20 years ACT, with the support of NAA, have been supporting and promoting sustainabl­e businesses and career in the arts. The Profession­al Developmen­t Programme supports the developmen­t of reliable, sustainabl­e and vibrant arts in South Africa and is designed to support job opportunit­ies, develop arts organisati­ons, associatio­ns, collective and arts practition­ers. ACT Awards: In celebratio­n of their 17th annual awards and 20th anniversar­y, the Arts & Culture Trust awards, sponsored by Nedbank Arts Affinity and hosted by Sun Internatio­nal at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton, took place on Tuesday.
