- STAFF REPORTER

SIYA Beyile’s vision has always been to grow his brand globally. With Youth Month being celebrated in South Africa, Beyile is flying the flag high in Europe and the US where he will be spreading the lifestyle culture of South Africa to the world and participating in the Annual Youth Month Business Conference – Meeting of the Minds: South Africa’s Enterprising Next Generation in New York.

The young lifestyle influencer was named one of “Africa’s Most Promising Entrepreneurs: Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30” last year.

Known as The Threaded Man for his fashion sense, the 22-yearold has established himself as a lifestyle entrepreneur with a strong following and presence on social media.

He has been invited by International Fashion house, Hugo by Hugo Boss, to take part in a number of events in Milan, Florence, Monaco and Paris.

He is on a month-long trip across Europe and the US. He has been posting his experiences on his social media platforms for all to see. The first half of his trip started in Milan with a visit to the Hugo Boss flagship store in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, as well as a Hugo by Hugo Boss showcase.

He then travelled to Florence to attend Pitti Uomo, the world’s most important platform for men’s clothing, accessory collections and for launching new projects in men’s fashion.

Beyile is representing South African wear in his stylish apparel with outfits from the international Laduma Ngxokolo of the Xhosa-inspired knitwear brand Maxhosa by Laduma.

His next stop will see him experience Paris Men’s Fashion Week scheduled to run from June 21-25 to view designs from Thom Browne, Paul Smith and Louis Vuitton, among many others.

“I want to use the platform to influence African creatives to continuously push boundaries and not listen to anyone who says that it’s not possible,” he said.

The second half of his trip will see Beyile meeting New York-based boutique consulting firm, Ndosi Strategies, to participate as a keynote speaker at their second Annual Youth Month Business Conference – Meeting of the Minds: South Africa’s Enterprising Next Generation, which takes place on July 1.

Ndosi Strategies in partnership with Brand South Africa will be bringing together a dynamic and influential group of South African youth, based in the US and in South Africa.

The group has been selected from a variety of industries, including; fashion, STEM, business, government, real-estate and finance among other professions, to convene in New York City to discuss the youths’ role in national and international development and how entrepreneurship can be used as a tool for economic growth.
