Whites and blacks can make a great team

- John Whitlock

JULIUS Malema recently told the youth that they “are going to have to fight in the streets to get rid of ‘white arrogance’”.

Really Julius! Could he explain just what this ‘white arrogance’ is, and how it manifests itself? Is he declaring war on white people? It is sad that, 23 years after gaining independence, certain black people are still calling for civil war, revolutions, the removal of all whites, etc. Apparently freedom and independence is not enough – more is wanted, usually for free.

Ironically, and in spite of the above, Malema, on Africa Day, implored his black comrades to treat women with respect, stating: “Why would a white man respect you when you don’t respect women”. So he strongly feels that the respect of the white man is still significant. Thank you, Julius!

However, his statement: “When African men see a woman, they do not see another human being, instead they see a tool to be used in the bedroom for their satisfaction”, was telling. Is he insinuating that all African men are sexually addicted? If so, why no outcry and condemnation?

Rather than calling for the extermination of whites, although just not yet, could I suggest Julius and a few other revolutionaries (sic) watch more Springbok rugby to see how blacks and whites can work together as a team, and achieve fantastic results. A model that can and should be followed. Germiston
