Amanda Khoza, a life coach in Joburg, says: “It’s easy for couples to lose the spark. They often get to a routine and start taking each other for granted.” Most relationsh­ip experts suggests that you take time off and go on holiday with your loved one to catch up and strengthen your connection. We’ve seen celebs do just that; they fill social media with picturesqu­e snaps and snippets of their romantic getaways. More than a trend, there are benefits to travelling with your beloved. Recharging your batteries as a couple, experienci­ng new things together and uninterrup­ted bonding are just some. Radio and TV personalit­ies Pearl Modiadie and Unathi Nkayi both got engaged while on holiday with their respective partners, Nkululeko Buthelezi and Thomas Msengana.
