Grilled Texas rib eye and T-bone steaks

For Texas rib eye steak 2T black pep­per 1T smoked pa­prika 1T cumin 2tsp dried mus­tard 2tsp dried oregano 2tsp dried co­rian­der 1tsp chilli pow­der 3T olive oil For T-bone steak 3 T olive oil 2 cloves gar­lic, crushed 2cm gin­ger stalk, crushed 4 chill­ies, finely chopped

½ cup tomato puree 2T brown sugar 3T honey ¼cup white wine vine­gar To sea­son af­ter cook­ing Salt and pep­per


1. Mix rib eye ingredients and rub spice mix on both sides. Mar­i­nate for an hour. 2. Mix T-bone ingredients in a pot and cook for 15 min­utes. Set aside and leave to cool. 3. Once the mari­nade is cooled, mar­i­nate T-bones for about an hour. 4. Braai on medium heat for about 15-20 min­utes on each side, or un­til browned and cooked.
