ROSE & STRAWBERRY TEA COCKTAIL
Ingredients
2 Rooibos tea bags
2 litres water
½ cup rose syrup
½ cup honey
500g strawberries, hulled
Bunch mint leaves
Method
1. In a deep saucepan, bring to boil Rooibos, water, rose syrup, honey, half of the strawberries and half of the mint leaves. Remove from the heat and leave the tea bags to steep until cool. Sieve and discard the tea bags, strawberries and mint.
2. Pour the tea into serving jugs, add remaining strawberries and mint, and ice. Serve chilled. Add ice, more strawberries and mint. Alcohol, such as vodka or rum, may also be added.
