THE WONDERS OF VINEGAR
In a study published in the US medical journal
Diabetes Care, apple cider vinegar was found to be a “wonder potion”. People who consumed two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before bed with their snack had lower blood sugar levels than those who didn’t. Not only is it great for diabetes, it works wonders for your weight.
How about adding vinegar to your diet to get rid of a few kilos? A study in Japan found that those who drank a beverage with some vinegar had less belly fat, lower triglycerides and waist measurements, and a lower body weight and body mass index, compared with the group who did not drink vinegar.
So, add a few teaspoons of either ingredient to your snack or drink, and toast your health.
