This self-titled debut album offers a fresh sound. Laz is the turntablist, Tebogo’s on drums and backing vocals, and Sakie is the lead vocalist. The trio is based in Joburg, but has roots in the Eastern Cape and Ga-Rankuwa. Their sound is a melting pot of influences, ranging from jazz and maskandi to dance and reggae. All 10 tracks feel like one long jam session.
