1. Clean work surfaces as you go 2. General clean up:
• Scrub chopping boards after each use. Add a few drops of MAQ Thick bleach to final rinse water.
• Clean and disinfect the sink and draining boards every day. Squirt MAQ Thick bleach into the plug hole to remove grime build-up and odours.
• Empty kitchen bins daily, and wash inside and out with a solution of MAQ Thick bleach.
• Wash kitchen cloths daily, add few drops of MAQ Thick Bleach to final rinse, and dry thoroughly before re-using.
5. Keep your dishes clean
• To remove baked on foodstuff from casseroles and saucepans, simple add hot water and a squirt of MAQ Dishwashing Liquid, place the casserole or saucepan on a low heat on the stove and allow to simmer.
• When the foodstuff has softened, wash as normal in a strong solution of MAQ Dishwashing Liquid.
• To clean and shine glass and crystal, make up a warm, sudsy solution of MAQ Dishwashing Liquid, allow glasses to soak for a short while, then rinse in a solution of one cup vinegar to three cups water. Air dry and polish with a fine linen cloth.
• To clean discoloured aluminium pans, simmer either vinegar or apple peel with enough water to the cover the stain, and bring to the boil.
• Stainless steel pots and cutlery should be rubbed with a cloth dipped in methylated spirits, then wash in a strong solution of MAQ Dishwashing Liquid. Rinse, dry and buff with a soft cloth to restore shine.
7. Shine your stove top
Stoves and hobs come in a variety of finishes – some are enamel, others are glass or ceramic. Use a damp sponge with a squirt of MAQ Cream Cleaner to keep your surfaces clean and shiny. For burnt on dirt, slightly warm the hob or plate, squirt MAQ Cream Cleaner directly onto the food burn, leave for a few minutes and wipe away, leaving your hob shiny clean, without scratching it.
8. Mop your floors
To mop tiled floors, add one short squirt of MAQ Thick Bleach to five litres of water. Rinse and dry.
