It features the likes of Black Motion, Kwesta, DJ Mshega, Yemi Alade, Mobi Dixon and Mpumi. Some tracks we’ve heard before, but it doesn’t take away from the well-produced and thoughtout album.

Busiswa is the queen of dance music, and this 10-track gqom album doesn’t disappoint. Infused with elements of kwaito, tribal drums, her catchy Xhosa vocals and unmatched beats make Summer Life a must-buy. The outro, Ndiyi Lantombi, which sounds more like a recital, provides a mellow ending and is one of the standout tracks.
