Tom fires a doctor because of budget cuts but he has it easy compared to Christina, who has to let six of her nursing staff go. Christina tries to work out a budget that will let her keep her staff, and Kelly thinks about quitting after an ER tragedy and is told off for saving a patient by going against a doctor’s orders. Bobbie has to find a way to raise staff morale, and it proves to be a bit too much at the end of the day for Christina, who flips out.
