10 – 12 december

a very sudden turn of events begins when marothi wakes up and makes an unexpected revelation to the police. Charity and Kat are horrified by who the police are now charging for marothi’s attack, and Captain malebana’s shock at marothi’s confession leads to him taking drastic measures to keep the suspect behind bars. nimza puts Charles at risk of losing everything, and the pool competition draws a crowd. elizabeth prepares to meet mangaliso, and marothi has a proposition for Charity.

15 – 19 december

the final match in the pool tournament is tense and there’s a hint of impending violence in the air. tbose is convinced that nimza brought Kethani to turfloop to avenge ben’s death, while ma’Kunutu is pushed over the limit by nimza and Khethani’s behaviour. meikie and ma’ntuli want revenge on Charles, while love is in the air for elizabeth and mangaliso. marothi continues to terrorise Charity, Koko mantsha faces the reality of her situation, and Charity finds herself under pressure to sign the deal with the devil. then Koko mantsha’s rushed to hospital, sending Charity’s life into a tailspin and she makes some questionable decisions.

22 – 23 december

Charity feels that she has no choice but to accept marothi’s dreadful offer, while Koko mantsha is terrorised by an unwanted visitor in her ward. tbose and mapitsi have to make decisions about their future, and it looks like ma’ntuli and her children are in for a bleak Christmas.
