10 – 12 december

eJ campaigns on tV and in court by slamming John, while an emotional Will trashes maggie’s kitchen in a fit over sami and Gabi. bo and Hope take out the Horton family decorations and Hope finds a message from stefano inside alice’s Christmas ball. Will behaves like an angry drunk, and eJ and nicole have sex at the dimera mansion. bo and Hope phone susan banks and realise that there’s some sort of mystery about eJ but stefano refuses to discuss his message to alice. and Kate urges sami to stand up to bully madison.

15 – 16 december

Chad and melanie are kidnapped. Will, sonny, abigail and Gabi get a message threatening to kill Chad and melanie unless the gambling site is restored, and daniel helps Jack cope with a Ptsd episode when abby goes missing. the kidnappers grab abby too, then sonny rescues melanie, Chad saves Gabi and austin saves abby.

22 – 23 december

Jen tells abe that he’s going to have to get his hands dirty to fight eJ after nicole tricks abe into missing a speech so eJ can take his place. Kate babysits the kids for sami, while madison kisses brady after he tries to brush her off. daniel realises that he has a hand tremor during his ice-skating date with Jen, then he dumps Jen, telling her that she belongs with Jack. and marlena arranges a romantic jail dinner for John.
