the ’60s was a hip, swell and happening time in the world of music, especially swing music. and who better to turn the world on its head than four guys from the wrong sides of the tracks in downtown new jersey? who did they become, you ask? the four seasons, that’s who! Why it’s hot: we don’t really get a lot of great music-themed movies these days, so that sets this apart from the word go. it’s based on a true story and other than christopher walken, the stars are all unknowns who hit the high notes perfectly with their performances. it didn’t grab headlines, but jersey boys is definitely one for music lovers.
