Things get ugly when lerumo and moriti try to avenge their heartbroken son.

olding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die – and since the mojalefas want to be around for a while, they’re not playing that game. moriti (tshidi vera) and her hubby lerumo (john morapama) deal with thuli (simphiwe ngema) jilting their son in a way that will have her regretting her actions. “when they were told by pat (melusi yeni) what happened, they went through the roof,” says john. “no one does that to the mojalefas. no one!” not even an apology from thuli for her cheating ways on monday 12 january does the trick. the family want blood.

not wanting to be seen as loose, thuli has been keeping a low profile since the news of why she was really ditched at the altar came out. while ndalamo’s (lesley musina) ready to officially become her beau, she can’t give him a commitment on tuesday 13 january. but as it turns out, everybody already thinks that she’s a heart-breaking man-eater. office gossip plagues thuli on wednesday 14 january, upsetting the mojalefas further, especially moriti. “she’s not impressed by thuli’s apology,” says john. “she’s angry and won’t let thuli get away.” and they’ve got a plan in mind to remove thuli and her lover – for good. the evening of thursday 16 january sees thandaza (sindi dlathu) breaking bread at the mojalefa mansion, but what’s the ceo of mmc doing dining with the chairman and his wife? “the plan is to get thandaza to buy into their scheme. she’s the ceo and if they can convince her that restructuring will save the company money, she’ll bite without questioning their agenda,” john explains. but thandaza’s smarter than that and “she sees it right away and refuses to let them use the company to settle their personal scores.”

but the mojalefas won’t take no for an answer and “they’re confident that their plan will work, so they create a restructuring proposal and hand it to thandaza the next day,” says john. thuli’s not happy that her cousin thandaza is dining with the enemy and calls her a backstabber. but her reaction is nothing compared to when she sees lerumo’s document on thandaza’s desk with her name on the chopping block on tuesday 21 january. the battle lines are drawn, but can thuli face the mighty mojalefas on her own?
