Dr Ongers revealed her intentions with David, and Suffocate asked Puleng to return to Kilowatt.

7 – 9 january

David’s awake, paralysed and at Dr Ongers’ mercy, while Lerato’s unaware that Jimmy is out to kill her and confronts Dr Ongers when she finds her going through David’s safe. Then as a drugged David tries to escape, Lerato knocks out Dr Ongers, while Miles bumps into an enemy from the past who unsettles him. Mamokete, Reneilwe and Mampho have all passed matric, but Reneilwe fears that her life will amount to nothing if she doesn’t go to varsity. And Dr Ongers is about to permanently debilitate David.

12 – 16 january

Reneilwe and Mampho are eager to make a good impression when they get to varsity and come up with a money-making scheme. Miles is shocked by the State planning to call Victoria as a witness and he pressures Lucilla into using Connie as a source of info on Maponya’s team. Later, Miles learns that Doc bought Redemption, while S’fiso is afraid that his association with Miles is endangering his future at work. Doc’s making changes around Redemption and tells Zolani to fire S’fiso. As the trial approaches, Lucilla’s increasingly conflicted by her loyalty to Miles and her loyalty towards Connie, while Puleng discovers that Emmanuel is fending for himself now that Gumede’s in jail. The Khuses decide to invite Emmanuel to live with them, but Bash isn’t happy sharing his backroom.

19 – 20 january

Everyone’s glued to Miles’s trial and Lu pleads with Connie to forgive Miles for what he’s done. And Gail grapples with news about Miles’s tumour.
