Frankie and Adelyn were ready to go to the next level in their relationship, and Daleen left Tertius and moved in with At.

7 – 9 january

Ilse gets a fright when an enormous account arrives for her to pay, while an unwelcome and uninvited guest in the Jonker flat could change Daleen’s life forever. Zieg is kicked out the clinic, and Frankie has an uphill battle. Gustav sends Tertius home, and Pippa gives Daleen a shoulder to cry on.

12 – 16 january

Tertius isn’t able to go to work and then he gets more bad news, while Mr Rossouw has an interesting conversation in the lift. Kobus gets a promotion but his foreman doesn’t pitch for work and that causes friction between Kobus and Naomi. Mr Rossouw urges Zieg to speak to Adler, while Ivanka tries to comfort Okkie about Ilse and the bill. A hit-and-run victim is admitted to hospital, and Kobus is forced to make important decisions about his future. Zadie tries to give Naomi advice, while Tertius wants to give up his flat. Zieg manipulates another nurse, and Kobus sets Naomi an ultimatum. Tertius shares his problems with Gustav, Wimpie makes Okkie hesitant about a decision, and Pippa catches Daleen in the pharmacy. The Malherbes have another child in the home, Naomi gets more assurances about her future plans, while Zadie makes a discovery at the flat.

19 – 20 january

Pippa and Rian make a couple of decisions, while Morné is back from overseas and he’s ready for his matric year. Okkie’s article is published, and the Ferreiras tells Morné about their future plans. Rian’s romantic evening is interrupted, and Naomi is left confused by Kobus’s decision.
