Drama ensues as Ngwebedla confronts the Chief, Goliath puts Qondi in her place, and Mandla readies for war. Mehl’emamba agrees to get help from Lerato, who realises that she’s put herself in a tight spot, while Kaone isn’t entirely sure of her duties.

12 – 16 january

Mehl’emamba asks for Ntandane’s help with a letter, Bhekifa agrees to the UTA meeting, and Blade acts on Bhekifa’s decision. Iris has a bad dream about the baby and changes her mind about the birth, while Qondi tells Goliath the good news. As Mpiyakhe seeks peace in the Valley, a leader falls from his throne. Mkabayi’s hurt and wants revenge, while Mpiyakhe wants to know all about her vengeance plan and then warns Fezile about Mkabayi. Mandla claims to be the new druglord and is threatened by Bhefika. Melusi leaves for his new home and is welcomed with open arms as peace seems to prevail between the two camps. Zweli gives Melusi advice about his new school, while Iris is rushed to hospital, and Mpiyakhe is hurt by the decision that she makes. S’khaleni refuses to be in contact with Pam, while Goliath asks Qondi for a favour, and Mkabayi makes Bhekhumuzi a shocking offer.

19 – 20 january

Is Mpiyakhe right to suspect Mkabayi of the tragedy that happened? Mkabayi’s being very secretive, and Iris comes home from the hospital. And Melusi fakes his sickness but what could he be up to?
