And Felix’s latest spell is a total disaster. being the wife of an fbi agent has its difficulties, but 40-year-old tiffani thiessen makes it look so easy as elizabeth in white collar (2009-current). but real life hasn’t been all glitz and glam for the actress, who’s admitted to having struggled with her weight since she was 17. and being in the spotlight hasn’t helped, tiffani adds. “i’ve been asked to lose weight by producers. it really hurts but it is part of the business. people expect me to be thin and perfect and i’m not,” she says.
tiffani must’ve nailed her white collar audition because she was cast just three hours after auditioning and the other hopefuls were politely shooed away. she works behind the scenes too. tiffani started her own production company called tit 4 tat productions – they produced the film just pray (2005), which tiffani also directed. she’s been married to actor brady smith (vice president jay grant in hostages, 2013-2014) since 2005 and they have one daughter, five-year-old harper. tiffani launched her own collection of furnishings for infants and kids’ rooms with designer lonni paul in 2010. she’s a serious animal lover and has two dogs named buck and pearl, a cat named savannah and four chickens named ruby, anna, elsa and mable. one of her favourite hobbies is buying lingerie. “my lingerie drawer is probably as big as my drawer for sweats and jeans. it’s really huge,” she laughs. her best friend is jennie garth, her co-star from beverly hills 90210 (1990-2000). they met in 1994 when tiffani joined the cast as valerie; jennie played kelly. “we have one of those friendships that started long ago and i know i’ll have it for the rest of my life,” tiffani explains.
