the braces that sue wore in the first five seasons were her own. she gets rid of them in today’s episode and says that “when i was i kid, i had them for five years. for the show, they used the real braces on a fake prosthetic that i clipped over my teeth”. sue’s a middle child on the show and so is eden. the 23-year-old’s brothers are ben (older) and cosmo sher. sue’s silly limb-waggling victory dance in the middle comes from eden. “we had to come up with a movement when sue’s excited and i did that dance. the producers loved it,” she says. eden auditioned for her role when she was 17 years old. the other girls at the auditions were “11 and 12. in the end, it was between me and two 11-yearold girls,” eden laughs. her favourite guest star on the show so far was whoopi goldberg in 2012. the actress gushes that “whoopi is a godly woman. i’m such a fan”. she’s got two tattoos: venus (the universal symbol for woman) on top of her right foot, plus a feather with some writing along her left rib cage. eden loves to do volunteer work in nicaragua and she’s revealed that she wants to climb mt kilimanjaro. how does she keep fit? eden’s a fan of yoga and has been doing it for more than a decade. sue might be a typical online-loving teen, but eden isn’t. “i have sort of a general phobia of the internet and i don’t really want it that much.”
