and then there’s annalise’s elite team of law students…
Wes gibbins (alfred enoch) the black sheep of the class has a lot more to prove than the others. he’s not from a fancy neighbourhood or school, but he can spot gaps in a case. that he seems to be annalise’s favourite doesn’t make him more popular either.
tactic of choice: his guy-next-door looks and sense of sympathy make it easier for clients to trust him. this gets him far enough to get the info he needs.
connor Walsh (jack Falahee) he’s charming and sways both the guys and girls. he believes that he’s the most intelligent guy around, but he’s more ego than anything else. and that ego will land him in trouble.
tactic of choice: sex. if you can’t get info legally, seduction is your best option.
michaela pratt (aja naomi king) she’s the sycophantic suck-up of the group. she doesn’t just want to impress annalise, she wants to be her, as she reveals in episode 2 (19 january). her over-achieving tendencies make her less likeable, but she manages to make it work in her favour.
tactic of choice: persistence. she doesn’t give up and this could easily annoy even the most strong-willed person into giving her what she wants. laurel castillo (karla souza) she’s the quiet one who rarely speaks out, but that changes as the series progresses. she’s an idealist who hopes to defend the less fortunate, but annalise will soon change that idea too.
tactic of choice: the underdog. she’s the one you don’t think too much about. and her observational skills are tops! asher millstone (matt mcgorry) he was born rich and intends to keep it that way by becoming the greatest lawyer on earth. he’s the joker, dropping mostly inappropriate one-liners during serious moments.
tactic of choice: secrecy. we don’t know anything about his personal life. p
