It can’t be! isn’t she dead? when ty (wilhelm van der walt) spots a girl in the arcade on friday 30 january, he’s convinced that it’s his fiancée antoinette (zoe ras), whom he accidentally shot in january 2014 instead of his aunt gita (jo da silva).
gita’s sidekick was meant to have disposed of the body following the “murder”, but it’s clear that he didn’t do a good job, because on monday 9 february ty’s dead certain that he’s looking at antoinette when she stuffs a scrap of paper with her phone number into his hand. she should be scared of him, but when she’s not, ty realises that antoinette has amnesia and has no idea what happened.

zoe explains that antoinette’s returned to hillside to find herself. “she wants to know who she is and where she’s from. and as soon as she sees ty, she realises that she knows him and that he can possibly give her answers.” still shellshocked, ty doesn’t really know if he can believe everything that antoinette says. “he’s completely freaked out and wonders whether this woman just looks exactly like antoinette
