For better or worse
KG and Sydney are ready to tie the knot, but their walk down the aisle is a tricky one.
After all they’ve been through, KG and Sydney (Nonhle Thema and Zolisa Xaluva) finally get their day. It’s time to say their “I do’s” on Thursday 24 September, in the hills of Muldersdrift, just outside Jozi. And we were on hand when Zabalaza filmed the wedding special in early August.
Guests arrived dressed to the nines, including Big Brother Mzansi (2001current) contestants K2 and Blue. KG’s hair took about four hours to style but it’s worth it when she appears in her boutique wedding dress with flower detailing and embellished Swarovski crystals. For KG, this is a start to a new chapter in her life and says Nonhle, “I’m very excited that KG has the man of her dreams. She never thought that she could move on from her babydaddy Moss (Matli Mohapeloa). She always thought that Moss was the love of her life. My character is a reflection of what real women are and now that she’s let go of the babydaddy, she’s found someone who’s truly the love of her life.” a vulnerable situation on [Tuesday 8 September],” says Nonhle. “They slept together but it didn’t mean anything. KG woke up the next morning and realised that this isn’t where she wants to be. She wants to be with Sydney and not back with Moss, who provided her with a baby and stress.”
