FEBRUARY: HUSTLING HARD

Themba’s up to his old tricks and ropes Bash into a heist that he’s planning to make a quick buck. A reformed Suffo gets in on the deal to relieve some of his financial strain, only to stress out pregnant Puleng to the point of collapse. Meanwhile, Niki’s excited at the prospect of making easy money and she rekindles the spark with her estranged hubby in a moment of thrillting danger. Puleng isn’t happy about the absence of her man, especially because supernatural occurrences are happening around her and she needs support and a second opinion other than Cuba’s conspiracy theories about Niki dabbling in witchcraft. Emmanuel is spreading his wings and Reneilwe is helping him become a music genius, and Bongi’s nowhere to be found when she is needed most by Zinzi following her rape ordeal. Elsewhere, Sabelo and Mapula are down on their luck when their dream of getting an RDP house slips further out of reach.

MARCH: FRIENDS ARE FOES

Mapula gets a new friend who helps her and her family move into an RDP house, but the woman has ulterior motives and Mapula’s about to find out the hard way that not everyone who smiles and listens wants to help. Bongi goes to recovery and meets a handsome stranger who’s about to change her life. Doc’s jealousy rears its ugly head, so boundaries are defined when Doc and Bongi agree on seeing other people, but their spark is still there and when Lerato returns to the picture, it’s clear that the love triangle is very much still in full force. David goes on a drug binge with Brenda and ends up on the wrong side of Dolly, who isn’t impressed with Brenda’s withdrawal and gets her back on drugs before kicking David out. Ever the resourceful businessman, David moves his sleazy business to Zer011, worrying Suffo who’s just experienced a terrible loss, one that may well spell the end of his marriage to Puleng.
