Rick lowers the gun after shooting into the wall and mockingly asks a shocked Ridge what he’s doing molesting Caroline. Charlie checks whether the bullets injured anyone on the other side of the wall, and Ridge begs Caroline to run away with him and start a design studio. Caroline signs Rick’s divorce papers without hesitation, and Ridge tells Eric what Rick has done.
