Poor Puleng and Suffo are going to go through an even rougher time. Weekdays e.tv (*194) 19:00

Strange behaviour has become the norm of late for Puleng (Tebogo Khalo). Since suffering a miscarriage in March, she’s been desperate to fall pregnant by hubby Suffo (Mduduzi Mabaso) again, while becoming increasing attached to his other wife Niki’s (Nolo Phiri) baby Busi (Thabo Ntshubela). After a breakdown on Wednesday 8 June, shocking news prompts Puleng to stop blaming Niki and take matters into her own hands.

DESPERATE TIMES

As Puleng’s anxiety about having a baby increases, she steps out of her comfort zone on Thursday 16 June and consults a sangoma to figure out what the issue is with her fertility and she’s given a dire diagnosis. “She’s told that a dark cloud is hanging over her and she can’t carry a baby full-term,” says Tebogo. “But she doesn’t believe the sangoma and decides to get a second opinion from a medical professional.” Meanwhile, Suffo’s aunt Ntombizodwa (Deli Malinga) arrives on Friday 17 June to look after Busi as Niki isn’t comfortable having Puleng on babysitter duty anymore. Suffo’s aunt confronts him about the tension in the house, seemingly siding with Puleng… something that Niki wasn’t expecting.

CLOSE TO A MELTDOWN

News from Puleng’s good friend and Zer011 waitress Reneilwe (Amogelang Chidi) on Monday 20 June causes her to take immediate action towards giving Suffo another child. “Reneilwe tells her that she overhead Suffo saying that he’s considering getting rid of one of his wives and naturally, because of the drama that’s been happening with her and her strange behaviour, she fears that her marriage is on the line,” explains Tebogo. “She loses it and freaks out, deciding to step up her game.” During her visit to a fertility clinic, she’s asked to retrieve Suffo’s DNA for some tests to be done to confirm the compatibility of their chromosomes,” Tebogo says. But she battles to convince Suffo to comply on Tuesday 21 June…
