Tensions boil over as an overjoyed Mandlakazi prepares to welcome Tsietsi back home, while Detective Zungu is unnerved to discover that Nkonzo has been investigating the Namanes for some time and he explains why. Tsietsi demands his office back but Mandlakazi puts him in his place, and Nkonzo flies off the rails and does the unthinkable when Zungu refuses to help him. Later, Nkonzo gradually loses his grip as he becomes obsessed with finding out where his niece’s remains are.
