Head case
Call us crazy, but something’s not quite right about Sharon’s therapist at Fairview Sanitarium…
Patty (right) is going to cause loads of drama for Sharon. Weekdays e.tv (*194) 09:00
Fairview isn’t the safe haven that Sharon (Sharon Case) was hoping it would be when she checked in on Friday 3 June. She’s freaked out by fellow inmate Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) – her fiancé Dylan’s (Steve Burton) criminally insane aunt – thanks to Patty’s unsettling obsession with being friends with Sharon and conversations with her toy kitty. But the real danger at Fairview might not be from cuckoo killer Patty. Sharon’s therapist Dr Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) is ringing alarm bells…
DIAGNOSIS: SUSPICIOUS
On Monday 13 June, Patty goes running to tattle to Dr Anderson that Sharon’s lying about being pregnant after overhearing Sharon and her daughter Mariah (Camryn Grimes) discussing Sharon’s Monday 9 May miscarriage. The doctor warns Patty to stay quiet and on Friday 17 June, Dr Anderson takes a blood sample from Sharon, claiming that it’s for a check up on how she’s adjusting to her new bipolar medication. But Dr Anderson also runs a pregnancy test There’s a hidden agenda behind Dr Anderson’s smile. and tells Patty that Sharon actually is pregnant after all – confidential information that’s not only none of Patty’s business but directly contradicts what Sharon’s original doctor told her on Monday 30 May. While we’re scratching our heads and wondering whether Dylan and Sharon somehow had an offscreen quickie on the way to the sanatorium, Patty scampers off to tell Sharon that she thought Sharon was lying about the baby, but that Dr Anderson’s test has proven that Sharon is pregnant for real. Seems a little shady, right?
