TT makes major management changes before he turns his back on Kings Casino to fulfil his destiny.

TT says goodbye, but he has a surprise in store… Weekdays SABC3 (*193) 19:30

TT’s (Fezile Mpela) been experiencing strange headaches, nose bleeds and disturbing dreams for months. “He has been suffering,” admits Fezile, who adds that it’s only since Thursday 14 July that things have normalised. That’s when TT listened to the message from his village elder (Mike Mvelase) about leaving the casino and returning home to become the chief of his clan. Wednesday 20 July marks TT’s exit, but not before he gets board approval to distribute casino shares… [see the blue box for how he does it].

ON & OFFSCREEN

Fezile wrapped things up at High Rollers (2013-current) at the end of April when he resumed duties as a producer on kykNET soap Getroud Met Rugby (2016-current – see more on p28), plus he joined the cast from Tuesday 12 July as Ike Mkhize, the new assistant coach for the Stryders rugby team. “It came naturally to also work with my fellow actors onscreen as well as behind the scenes. In that way, I can be more involved in the entire production,” says Fezile. Readers can now look forward to Ike and Fafa (Altus Theart) bumping heads over their coaching methods…

THE NEW MANAGEMENT

TT divides the shares equally among the four new casino management, who are… Chief Executive Officer Busi (Jo-Anne Reyneke) is now the big cheese at Kings Casino and she’s under more pressure than ever with David scrutinising her ever move. Chief Financial Officer David (Antony Coleman) finds info on Thursday 21 July that the casino’s finances are in ruins and that they’re heading for bankruptcy. He can’t wait to see Busi’s face when he breaks the news to her. Chief Operating Officer Paul (Justin Strydom) seems to be the only one still with a sense of morals. That doesn’t stop Busi from putting him in a tight spot on Monday 25 July when she forces him to break the retrenchment news to the staff. TT’s proxy Thandi (Nqobile Nunu Khumalo) doesn’t own the shares but she represents TT. He chose her because a sangoma prophecy told him in 2015 that Thandi will be the casino’s big boss one day.
