KHABONINA, DON’T GO!
Please tell me that Khabonina is staying with Isidingo, tvplus. I live for her! – RUDZANI, PRETORIA There’s loads of exciting Uzalo news in our quarterly preview on p10, but one little hint that we’re super excited about is that Khabonina Qubeka will be joining the soapie in October playing Nokuthula, a cougar who’ll be making eyes at Mxolisi (Naymaps Maphalala). That’s still fairly hushhush – Isidingo’s (1998current) publicists claimed to know nothing about the move and told us that Khabonina is still part of the principal cast as Nina Zamdela. So for now, no one seems to know which show she’ll stick with! Yizo Yizo (1999-2004) fans should also keep watch for the show’s ex- Chester when Ernest Msibi comes to Uzalo as Sibahle’s sinister pimp Amos in September. NB!
