Tallulah and Ben’s wedding isn’t the happiest day of the young couple’s lives – the bride is hiding a massive secret and the groom is in love with someone else!

It’s never wise to enter a marriage that’s based on lies. But when you are as desperate to keep your man as Tallulah (Hayley Owen) is, you will resort to desperate measures. Kings Casino dancer Tallulah, who suffered a miscarriage on Monday 22 August, hasn’t told her fiancé Ben ( Viljé Maritz) about it – their baby is the only reason he’s marrying her in the first place. To keep up her complicated ruse, Tallulah’s been wearing a fake belly and put pressure on Ben to move their wedding to an earlier date. On Wednesday 7 September, their big day arrives and if Tallulah sticks to her scheming ways, she will end the day as Mrs Ben King. Tallulah’s cruel plan to trick “expecting dad” Ben works and she’s now Mrs King. Bridesmaids Linkie (Danielle Retief) and Thandi look stunning in their dresses, which are part of designer Gert-Johan Coetzee’s spring collection.

As pretty as it is, only the top tier of the couple’s vanilla sponge cream cake is real. The rest of the cake is styrofoam decorated with fondant icing and it was made by Joburg-based Luvies Bakery.
