The twins are born, much to Tsietsi and Mpho’s joy. Reba catches Ma’Mazibuko trying to leave with one of the babies, a wounded Mickey proposes to Nokulunga, and Selo realises that the cops have the R100 million. The Namanes are reeling after Ma’Mazibuko’s attempt to abduct one of the newborn twins, as well as Reba’s recent trip to the hospital. Selo gets renewed hope that Mandlakazi can be rescued, Tsietsi struggles with the idea of using his daughter to catch Bab’Hlongwane, and Disebo has a final confrontation with her husband. Damian looks forward to becoming CEO once the business is officially handed over to shareholders, Selo and Tsietsi take the baby to barter for Mandlakazi’s release, and Selo later confesses to the murder of Nkonzo’s niece Nomzamo. Mandlakazi reunites with her family, and Bab’Hlongwane dies.
