Ezra and Aria be a real-life couple, it won’t happen. Ian’s been dating artist Sophie Hart since 2011 and says that “in this line of work, you have to reveal so much of yourself over and over, that to have something private is a novelty. So that’s why I kept it [their relationship] quiet and I really won’t say much else about it other than it’s awesome”.

But while the 30-year-old isn’t 2

ready to start a family, he does have two babies: his Labrador-crosspoodles. “Mochi and Bailey are insane,” Ian laughs. “They’re wonderful. I guess the whole thing about rescuing is there are just so many dogs. I feel like it’s an easy way to give back.”

He’s a philanthropist and besides 3

helping The Fund For Animals Wildlife Center in California, Ian’s also involved in The Lupus Foundation. His mom Mary was diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease in 1994 and hasn’t let the incurable illness stop her from working as a cardiology nurse at the Walter Reed Hospital in Virginia.

Ian’s dad Stephen is a New York4

based best-selling author specialising in war novels like The Last Battle (2013) and Last To Die (2015).

And while Ian enjoys gymming, he 5

thinks that it’s boring. “I play soccer. I like gym and I have a trainer who’s awesome, but it’s just, like, boring to go there over and over again, so I found other stuff, like soccer,” he says.
