The journey to Caroline and Ridge’s (Linsey Godfrey and Thorsten Kaye) wedding has seen two huge, nasty secrets crop up. On Thursday 29 September, Ridge warns his ex-exex-wife Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) not to open her big mouth about his secret Parisian vasectomy, which he revealed to her on Tuesday 20 September. And after Caroline sets aside any concerns that she could be pregnant with great relief thanks to a bathroom visit on Thursday 29 September, she warns Ridge’s son Thomas (Pierson Fodé) to keep his trap shut about the drunk, drugged sex he had with her on Tuesday 20 September. But any wedding crashing plans that Brooke and Thomas might cook up are doomed because Ridge and Caroline are eloping.

• Ridge and Caroline’s wedding was filmed at the Malibu home of Maria Arena Bell (Y&R’s former executive producer and headwriter, 2007-2012) and Bill Bell Jr (the brother of Bold executive producer Brad Bell). • Bold invited real-life fans to a “wedding reception” for Ridge and Caroline in New York on 14 September 2015 (the day the wedding aired in America) during which the Forrester clan danced with their fans and Caroline tossed her bouquet while Beyoncé’s 2008 song All The Single Ladies played. There was even a wedding cake! On Monday 3 October, after rather On Tuesday 4 October, the couple buzz off to Malibu to say their made-upon-the-spot vows. “It’s bittersweet,” says Linsey. “Every part of her wants to say those vows, but there is part of her that feels she shouldn’t be allowed to be this happy.” As for the paperwork, by Tuesday 11 October, Thomas finds out that it’s been filed at City Hall. It’s official – Ridge is married to Caroline Forrester… again. The first time was to her aunt Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson) back in 1990.
