Season 3 ITV Choice (*123) 19:00 Reality

It’s tough for an adoptee to find their biological parents and vice versa, but on reality show Long Lost Family (2011current), presenter Davina McCall lends a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and a tissue when needed. That’s something the 49-year-old is no stranger to…

The ex Celebrity Big Brother UK 1

(2001-current) host revealed that a fight in her 20s with her best friend Sarah forced her to deal with her heroin addiction. “The drink and drugs were getting serious,” says Davina. “It wasn’t a party thing anymore – I was a mess!”

She found love in 1997 after get2

ting clean at Narcotics Anonymous but divorced shop manager Andrew Leggett in 1999. Davina then married travel agent Matthew Robertson in 2000 and they’re still together.

The couple have three kids: daugh3

ters Holly (15) and Tilly (13) and son Chester (10). Unluckily for the kids, they won’t be getting a cent of their parents’ considerable wealth, as Davina says. “I look at my kids and have painstakingly told them they won’t be inheriting any money. Me and Matt plan on spending every penny. They will have to stand on their own two feet.”

Besides her personal wealth of 4

£3 million (R53 million), Davina is also good at raising funds for charities. In 2014, she brought in over £2.2 million (R39 million) for British charity Sport Relief. She ran, swam and cycled across the UK and it was turned into an ITV documentary called Davina: Beyond Breaking Point (2014).

She actually started her showbiz 5

career as a singer – she made a demo cassette in the ’60s with the help of her then-musician boyfriend Eric Clapton (most famous for 1992 mega hit song Tears In Heaven).
