queen. In 1997, she won the Nuevo Leon Mexican beauty pageant, as well as the Miss México World at a pageant in Chile. She also modelled for Swiss jewellery brand Charriol in 2008 and 2009 and cosmetic brand Avon in 2011.

She hasn’t always been lucky in 2

love. Her first hubby Bill Soto died in 2004 from melanoma cancer less than a year after they married. She wed Jack Harnett (Tom in 2005 romcom Hitch) but they split in 2012 and Blanca says that “I always try to be positive. I have to think about how nice the marriage was”. Blanca then married Mexican telenovela actor Fernando Colunga in 2015 after two years of dating.

role as Sara has ignited her maternal instincts. “I learnt a lot about being a mother through Sara. She’d defend her son Salvador (Alan Castillo) at all costs, as would I as a mother,” she says.

She has an exclusive contract with 4

network Telemundo and won’t do any acting with anyone else. And she’s come at a cost to the network – Blanca has reportedly made $5 million from her deal, half of her $10 million net-worth.

When she isn’t working, Blanca is 5

working out – but not in a gym! “I’m always outside walking my dog, riding my bicycle or paddle boarding.”
